- New releases: Smart Bitches (romance), Book Riot (best out this week, YA)
- Linkity from Smart Bitches.
- Ficlet.
- Write a letter to your future self.
- SO TRUE.
- “A culture of gratitude is how we survive“.
- Another condo in that converted church.
- Gorgeous conversion.
- Cool warehouse conversion.
- I had no idea this was what a Craftsman style house was supposed to look like – I’ve only seen them after a lot of painting.
- This is a lot more fun inside than the first exterior photo would lead you to believe.
- Pretty nice late MCM, although I have questions about how closing off the pool works from a security perspective.
- Pretty cool double shotgun house.
- I especially like the purple tennis court.
- Futuristic mall vibe?
- Comes with a tunnel to the neighbor’s house.
- This degenerates into wtfery pretty quickly. I have questions about the curtained windows in the living room and the “view”.
- Railings would be nice.
- :squinting:
- Agreed.
- Why.
The Lady Miss Princess Mayhem deliberately not making eye contact.
Nothing here for me.
I wonder if the curtained windows in the wtfery house are just for room darkening so there’s no glare on the TV. But in that house, there’s just no knowing.
Stairs of death
Yes. Finding the balance between staying informed on current events and drowning in them is so hard. (And only the fact that THEY’RE COUNTING ON THAT keeps me even trying to find that balance, some days.)
The “have no mouse” ficlet is so touching.
Wait, what? That house with the tunnel to the neighbor’s house is in Concord, CA? I wonder if it’s still on the market… it’s close enough that I could make a half-day trip over to see an open house. o.0
I love all that wood paneling in the Craftsman house!
I wouldn’t have guessed that one exterior picture matched up with its inside shots, either. The exterior photo with the fun lights is much better.
I’m not surprised that you like the purple tennis court. $12.5m is a bit steep, though. (Even though you get a huge house and a ton of land for the price.)
(Nope. Sale pending on both Concord houses. No open houses anymore.)
