Reading Update
Spindle’s End by Robin McKinley. Very good variant of Rumpelstiltskin, in which a fairy accidentally absconds with the princess after she’s cursed. The princess is raised with no idea who she really is. I stayed up too late reading this one. 🙂
The Illustrated History of Hockey: The NHL Years by Jason Kay & Craig Campbell. Interesting book that spends a page or two on each year of the NHL’s history. I was most interested in the more recent years, so I read this back to front.
“Ewwww, Mayhem’s touching me, Mom!” -Chaos
“What?” -Mayhem
CHocolate wine!?…no, can’t be good

Oh Linkity, how we’ve missed you!
Chris- As for The Donald, it’s become entertainment to see what dumb thing comes out of his mouth next.

Welcome back!
A recent post from kmkat..Food, glorious food!
I’ve had chocolate wine, but not that brand. Got it for $2.99 at Grocery Outlet. It sucked as wine, but it was great over ice cream.
I have a copy of Spindle’s End which I’ve reread several times over the years, as I’ve done with the other Robin Mckinley books I have. 😀
Derek Landy’s book dedications are great!
Hai!
That was the bestest Halloween costume.
Yeah. I guessed too. :-/
I love the “binge-writing bad novels” take on NaNoWriMo. The things she lists as things she learned are spot on, though.
Awesome Halloween costume. I’d get tired of carrying a door around, though.
LOL, the metric system lost to poetic license…
Spindle’s End is on my TBR list. I’ll get to it eventually…
