- Comparison of the Pilot Metropolitan and Lamy Safari budget fountain pens. (I like the Pilot Metro much better than the Lamy Safari, which has a triangular grip that doesn’t correspond to how I hold fountain pens. I suspect the reviewer didn’t use the Metro posted, which gives it a bit more weight and balance.) (Also, check out the TWSBI Eco, which is a great pen for just a little more than the Lamy Safari.)
- Built from Ink and Tea reviews Lamy’s Dark Lilac ink.

I’m surprised there isn’t deep-fried butter on a stick on that list.

57 privileged here. Not surprising: white, college-educated, hetero.

Huh, I have both a Lami Safari and the Pilot MR, and I think the Lamy feels lighter when I write with it (in contrast to the article). I prefer my MR with one exception – the Lami holds a LOT more ink. But, I got an TWSBI Eco as well (are you the one who pointed me towards those?) and I love the way it writes, too, and it holds bunches and bunches of ink. (You enabler, you.)
I’ve been using a bullet journal since the beginning of this year, and I must say it goes really well with the fountain pen & fun ink addiction. 🙂
I’ve looked at the Lamy Dark Lilac ink, and have thought about it, but I bought the Diamine Purple Pazzaz instead. That ink has gold flecks in it, and is fun! Hehe.
60% privileged. Most of the ones I answered in the non-privileged way were either because I’m female or because of my (lack of) religion.
Um, Mac & Cheetos? No. Just no.
