Reading Update
Adventures in Bookbinding: Hand Crafting Mixed-Media Books by Jeannine Stein. I enjoyed seeing some of the unusual techniques the author used to create these books. And I thought it was cool/clever that, for each book, the author provided regular directions, shortcut directions, and “master” directions.

“Is this all there is to life?” -Mayhem
EXCUSE ME? You have summer there?
A recent post from blodeuedd..Magic shifts – Ilona Andrews
It was nearly 70 here yesterday.
Babies. Yep.

A recent post from lorraine..Some Toronto History…and knitting
When my baby brother was travelling Europe (too many years ago for me to remember), he met heaps of Americans who had moved because Bush had been elected. It got to be kind of a standing joke about how many Americans he had met between phone calls, etc with me. Trump, though, is in a league all of his own.
Crazy weather. Still screaming from the image of the Donald.

‘love-darg is a task or job done out of love for someone else, or to catch the romantic attention of someone you like.’
Ooh, I love this idea. Come on authors write some love-darg into your romantic novels! Though I’m sure it’s been done, just not described so delightfully.
And those supernatural collective nouns are great, too. –
A basement of vampires, a scamper of bogeymen, but just ‘the borg’. Lol
I’ve enjoyed reading some of those journaling links. I had time last night to sit down and work on a 100 Happy Days project I’ve decided to do. I’ve got an online bit but I’ve set myself a journaling challenge alongside it.
