Sorry for surprise!no Linkity. 🙁 It’s kind of been a week from hell here. I’ve been on an unpleasant every other day migraine pattern since last Friday. We had 10″ of snow and broke a snowfall record for February 2. Wednesday I thought I’d take a nice drive around Lake of the Isles while the parking lot at my building was being plowed out and my car slid into a 2016 Mercedes on a hill. I’m ok – just very sore and achey – but am waiting for word on whether my car can be repaired or if it’s totaled.
So! Tell me about your weeks, which were hopefully much better than mine. Also (I don’t remember to say this enough) – thanks to everyone who reads, especially to those of you who comment. Your comments always brighten my day. 🙂

I hope thing start to look up soon! Last week we missed three days of work because we got THREE feet of snow….Fun 🙂
Spring is around the corner, right?
Oh no! That is just the worst. So sorry.

Oh no, I hope you recovery quickly! That’s awful. Cars can be fixed or replaced — I’m glad that you’re OK. My parents in Bloomington had 13.5″ of snow. Wintry…
Oh no! Thats crappy, both the migraine and the accident.
I’ve been listening to Harry Potter on audio book. First ‘read’ for me.
Oh nO!

I just did the same thing but hitting a pole. The adjuster was able to find replacement doors or my car would have been totaled. I’m so sorry you’re going through the same thing!

Hope you are better soonand that your car gets sorted quickly.
Do Chaos and Mayhem ever do anything active? Love the photos.
Wow – so glad you weren’t seriously injured. I hope your car can be repaired. If they want to total it, take a tip from Margene’s experience and ask the adjuster if they can get used doors to fix it.

Oh noes!! That’s awful, Chris- both the migraines and the smooshed car 🙁
I’ve only had three migraines. The third, and worst, I had last year- I couldn’t move without puking. That reminds me, I still haven’t bought one of those migraine kits for when it happens again.
Still in the middle of a water shortage and heat wave here in Cape Town. I know you don’t want to hear it but I’d love some cool weather right about now.
CHRIS! NOOOOOOO! My gosh, you poor thing. That must have been so scary!
I adore that you ploughed into a 2016 Mercedes. A 1994 Skoda, for example, wouldn’t have been worth hitting. The poor Mercedes owner too, still in the throes of new car ownership love. I hope they weren’t a dick. I’m so sorry this happened to you {{{hugsssss}}
I bet you need a massage for the aches. Can you get one? I find they help me for migraines too, on a long term basis. Just releases tension, I guess. I haven’t had one since I started getting massages regularly, which is such a relief.
My week: wrote 15507 words. Bought a total of 8 washi tape. Yes, I know, I told you not 36 hours ago I had bought three. Well, surprise, now I have eight. including one with green bugs and one with butterflies 🙂 Spent way too long watching videos of Traveler’s Notebooks on YouTube. Got as far as the checkout page on the Chic Sparrow website to buy an a5 Maverick before I came to my senses. Had already registered, so now every 12 hours I get an email from Chic Sparrow reminding me of delicious, fragrant leather goods. Must. Be. Strong…
Sorry about the accident and glad it wasn’t worse. Damned Mercedes, always getting in someone’s way 😉

Oh Chris, what an awful week! I’m sending feel-good wishes your way
We haven’t had much snow at all this year here in the North of Scotland, it’s been wet and windy instead. And now the days are lengthening and the snowdrops are flowering it feels as though spring is just around the corner. (Hope I haven’t spoken too soon, there.) 🙂
So sorry all this is happening to you! Very glad you are okay (mostly – migraines are hell). Wishing you lots of luck with the car… Love all the art journal things – makes me want to try it. And the pics of the cats are great – they’re so funny. Thanks for all the work you put into this. I’ve learned and laughed a lot 🙂
I am going to run right off and scold the universe for allowing such a week, and admonish it to take better care of you from now on! For a little while, try taking a Chaos approach to life – sleep through everything but the food, the fun and the ear scritches!
Chris- And we had a record warm temperature yesterday. So sorry about your car- even if it gets fixed, it’s just never the same, is it?
Hopefully next week will be much better.

Sorry to hear that. I hope you feel better soon and everything works out.
Wow, so sorry about the week that you’ve had! Hope your weekend is a good one.
Yikes! Glad you’re okay – hope everything’s still okay, both with you and the car.
Sounds like it’s time for a good snuggle with the kittehs.

Oh dear. Your week definitely tops mine for crap. A totaled car is never a good thing. I’m glad you weren’t hurt badly. How did the Mercedes come out in the crash? :-0
