Whole lotta nothin’ goin’ on

Can’t come up with much to blog about today. Been feeling more blue than usual the past few weeks. I know it’ll pass, but the during isn’t ever much fun.

  1. Hang in there! At least you’ll have some good opportunities to drink in some Vitamin D over the next week – those rain clouds were a real downer. I’d also prescribe some chocolate and knitting!

  2. Hang in there, Chris. We’re here for you. And, you do have the babies to ignore you and sleep. That always makes me feel better;-)

  3. Agreed that “the during” sucks rocks but just as there are valleys, so are there peaks. And, as another commenter says, we’re all here for you.

  4. I’m sure Mayhem is on to something. Possibly throw in a few HPFM and you might have something approaching a party at your house. Thank goodness this week is supposed to be much better weather wise.

  5. Sorry things aren’t so great right now. Try wrapping some aluminum foil around Chaos and May’s feet and making little booties. That’s always good for a laugh around here.

  6. Sorry for the blues… knowing it’ll pass and making it through each day until its over aren’t necessarily the same thing! Hope there are lots of kitty-snuggles to tide you over until your spirits lift.

  7. Second the Itty Bitty etc reccy — I thought of you when I saw that series of photos.

    Do what you need to do to get through this down patch. Exercise may help a bit, but do what works best for you. I’ll be thinking of you.

  8. Sorry to hear you have been feeling blue. I know what that is like, and it’s the pits. I hope you are feeling better soon! A snuggle with the kitties must help.

  9. I can’t help it, I’m still laughing over Lorraine’s “keep your pecker up”.

    Listen to some cheerful music, knit a cheerful sock, torment your cats with bibs. All those things will make you smile.

  10. I hope your blues pass quickly. Hey you never know, playing the MGWT just might do the trick. Course you’d probably have to fight Mayhem for it. 😉

  11. Mayhem is probaly right you know. MGWT is entertaining for all. Kitties know these things. After all, they have it made, so they have time to think about stuff like that. They get to stay home and sunbathe while you and I go to work to earn kibble money. Which makes me wonder….who’s smarter, us or the kitties?

  12. Seeing May with her MGWT made me remember that this morning when I went out to feed the furherd, they had helped themselves to a blue jay. At least there were jay feathers all over the patio. And a couple of weeks ago Mad Maddy and Snarlypants caught a squirrel and tugged it apart. They ate every bite, not even the tail or fur was left this time. Last time they left the tail and backbone and one front paw but not this time! They must have been hungry! Tell May and Chaos hey from their Texas friends.

  13. the blahs seem to be in the air this time of year. Good news is that it does pass… but I totally agree, the during stinks.
    love that photo of May – her eyes are lovely.

  14. It’s the early Summer doldrums, I think. Seems to be going around. The kitties, however, don’t look like they have caught that particular bug.

  15. I’m just catching up on my blog reading (again). Sorry to hear you’ve been down; hopefully you’ll be feeling better soon. {{hugs}}
