There are days when it’s nearly impossible to take a picture around here. See the spiffy new sock I’ve been knitting?
“Addi snack!” -Mayhem
No? How about in this picture?
“Sock snack!” -Mayhem
Sheesh. Let’s try that again, shall we?
“I wonder how far I’ll get with all of this snacky goodness if I grab and run?” -Mayhem
I can live with that one! 🙂 Excuse me while I go rescue my sock…
This pair will be a gift – the stitch pattern is from the Cable Twist Socks pattern and the yarn is STR Mustang Sally. Here’s a cat-free close-up:
Those are sooo pretty!!
I wonder if Addi’s taste of cat nip?
I love the colour of those socks, they are sooo pretty!
Hee hee.. Curious kitties.
I definitely like that sock!
Catchen. That is all.
Love that red! You are very patient.
Pretty! Are you doing Project Spectrum this year? The sock would have fitted right in.
Mmmm, nice colour! Matches Mayhem’s little wee noggin’ quite nicely.
Worse than dogs!
That’s a gorgeous color, but you know how partial I am to pink… and socks! : )
that’s a sock, you still have failed at fooling me. fail.
Love the color!
Mayhem is in need of a bit of counciling….it’s the whole lack of thumbs issue i think. So desperately wants to figure out how to knit without them. Poor kitty! (smile)
Chris- I have an absolute crapload of STR- but I don’t have that color.
I do have Lover’s Leap.
hmmm, looks like you need a can of “Cat Begone” the only surefire way to take a picture with a cat. Available now for the low, low price of 3 payments of $39.95. Act now and we’ll take off one payment and include this wonderful set of Shitzu knives. But wait there’s more! Act now and we’ll throw in a black labrador. Sure to keep those kitties away from the picture area. Don’t wait, this offer won’t last, by the time your done blogging today it’ll be gone gone gone!
Chris, the jig is up. I’ve finally figured it out: you’re not the knitter, MAYHEM is.
Aha! Proof that those poor kitties never get any kibble and are veritably starving to death and must turn to wool for sustenance.
Such a pretty sock! I love those colors.
It sure looks like you feed Mayhem, but she does seem to always want a sock snack. I think you better look into Rebekah’s offer; if only she’d thrown in a pocket fisherman.
I love the color — it’s totally me! Neither of my cats is at all interested in the knitting, which is good for the actual knitting but bad for photo ops!
I think I’ve used that pattern, but I don’t remember mine looking so pretty.
Cute socks! Are you sure you don’t store your knitting with the catnip? 😉
Try this – “May, look over there, it’s the MGWT!” (camera clicks abound). “What, it wasn’t there? Darn – I was sure I saw it.”
Pretty sock… once I managed to find it in the photos.
Oh, Cable Twist is one of my favorite “looks hard but isn’t” sock patterns! Great color, too. With or without felines.
Mine run the other way when the camera comes out! And that’s my very favorite STR colorway…wonder why? (Um, they spelled Sally wrong, btw…but everyone does) *wink*
(((hugs)))
Oh that is gorgeous and it is a beautiful colour, too. It wouldn’t be right if you didn’t have kitty assistance in photographing your pretties, would it?
“Rubber mat snack”
Pretty pink snack…er, sock. My kitties seem to think anything that hits the floor is edible. Which is not always the case…./
Very pretty, I love the color
G-o-o-d color.
How goeth things with the neighbor?
That is a gorgeous colorway!
Very nice colorway! Glad you could get a cat-free picture because it is really is nice. (You just had to put the tempting link there, didn’t you? Can you see I’m having bad thoughts of ordering sock yarn that I TRULY don’t need, that I probably wouldn’t be able to use until next century?)
Have you considered locking the sock and yourself in the bathroom for photoshoots?
Cat free pic. Cheat. 🙂
Cute colorway! Oh, I love Rebekah’s offer but I bet it’s gone by now!
I was going to leave a comment, but now I’m laughing too hard at Rebekah’s to remember what I was going to say….
Mayhem seems partial to mustangs. Hmmmm.
That is a beautiful sock pattern. I’ve never knitted it, but I did receive a pair of socks knit in this pattern from my Sockapalooza pal. They are stunning!
