Keep Jeanne in your thoughts – she’s had a very rough week. Goodbye, Bugsy – you will be missed. *sniff*
When I got home from work yesterday, I found two packages waiting for me! The first was a gorgeous mix cd and a postcard from MamaTulip, which was apparently carried here on foot from Canada, as far as we can tell. Thanks, MamaT – I’m enjoying the music muchly! The second was a ball of yarn that I begged off Jane when she hated how it was knitting up – thanks, Jane! Hopefully my larger feet will work to my advantage for a change and prevent the pooling that was driving Jane crazy. Jane also sent some toys for Chaos and Mayhem, which Mayhem is helpfully obscuring in the photo below.
“I’m always helpful, aren’t I, Mom?!” -Mayhem
*gagging sound offsides* -Chaos
Chaos was lured into a better mood with one of the toys, now dubbed “Bee Mouse.” (Chaos is indeed often called “Claw Boy” – how did you guess?!)
“It isn’t going to sting me, is it?” -Chaos
Apologies for yet another blurry photo in a week of blurry photos, but I couldn’t resist the expression on May’s face.
“With my chameleon-like ability to color coordinate my eyes with this toy, I’m going to lure it to its doom! Tee-hee!” -Mayhem
π Aw, I’m so sorry for Jeanne!
Between Chaos’ claws, and Mayhem’s teeth – whoa, that’s quite an arsenal they have there.
Oh, poor Jeanne. I’m so sorry. π
You know…the cover of your mix cd is actually a maze.
Chaos is worried and May takes the thing out! Typical! π
I’m sad for Jeanne.
Chaos’ claws are quite impressive – but I like Mayhem’s maniac giggle.
Is that a cat or the devil incarnate?!
Miss Mayhem – your eyes are verrrry scary!!
Chris- Awww, so sad to lose a friend.
Bee mouse, eh? I love the expressions on their faces when they play. My favorite is the rabbit-kick.
May is definitely showing that bee what’s for.
I’ll get you, my pretty! Bwa-ha-ha!
*hugs* to Jeanne. It’s never easy to lose a friend.
*hugs* to the Bee-Mouse as well. It doesn’t look like it has much time left on this world… π
I love your photo of Bugsy. I was honoured to have met him in the summer and I know he was very special to Jeanne.
I love the Bee Mouse – Chaos is going to have trouble wrestling it away from May.
Thinking good thoughts for Jeanne…
I’m very sorry for Jeanne’s loss. It’s very hard to lose a beloved pet.
Do you wear body armor? Quite some claws and teeth on your kitties! May is just a big kitten, but don’t tell her I said so; I’m scared of her fangs.
Hey, I joined in Blurry Fotos Week, too. Apparently the earth was shakin’.
I assume the bee mouse is nip filled based solely on that final photo of May.
Poor Jeanne. (sigh) It’s always so blasted hard.
I am intrigued by that bee. The Black Twins look totally BEE-sotted!
(((hugs)))
I love the crazed look on May’s face!
Poor Jeanne. That’s just so awful.
Mayhem’s eyes do match the bee mouse! Cool.
Oh noes! It’s the dreaded bumblebee cat!
Poor Jeanne. Losing a pet is a horrible thing, and one of the hardest emotional things to feel justified about. So omany don’t understand that the loss can be as unbearable as losing a human.
Losing a beloved furry friend is so hard. π
Cat toys are the way to a feline heart, huh? π
Oh, so sad. Poor Jeanne. But I’m glad to see Chaos got at least a glimpse at the mouse before May took off with it.
That mouse doesn’t have a chance.
Poor Jeanne. It’s so hard.
I’d hate to see what ‘clawboy’ might look like if Mom never trimmed those claws (grin) good thing they like the trim process !
