“I don’t know why you people spend so much time upside down. Anyway, Mom sent me to tell you that she had a very lovely holiday with both family and friends, but since she spent the time she was going to blog digging her stuck car out of the alley and then the parking lot (our dinner was six hours late!), she really can’t come up with anything to say. Actually, she seems to be muttering a lot of words that I don’t think she’d let Mayhem or I use. Best to just come back tomorrow.” -Chaos
ETA: The car “fun” only contributed to one hour of kitty dinner lateness!
Sounds like your mom had a rough start – hope things turned out better later!
Poor May, poor Chaos, poor MOM!!
Sorry about the digging there. Here we are snow-free but it’s looking rather like rain. Wanna trade?
Uh, that doesn’t sound good at all.
Chaos, I was wondering if you’d be free to teach Miss Lulu to type? She’s all thumbs when it comes to using the keyboard. Really, it’s a mess.
Yes, there’s been a bit too much shoveling.
Chaos, right before bed, get a snowball and put it in her pants.
That little girl almost looks like a Torti in that picture – must be the (snowy) light?
Teens are good for something – snowblowers!
Chris- Hey, that was our snow, in Toronto. I wondered where it went…..
I am sending wishes for a warm spell…
(((hugs)))
Sending ice pack hugs and ibuprofen kisses to your mom!!! Happy Merry any way!!
Oh no! Relax and recover so you can ring in 2008 with (hopefully) no colorful language! LOL!
Lots of hugs to your mom, and rubs & scritches to you and May. I hope Christmas was good for you kitties, too!
Six hours?! Can’t wait to hear the rest of that tale. Enjoy your day off!
Wow, sorry it took so much work to get your car unstuck. Merry (belated) Christmas!
Blech! We had a lot of snow here and we always have to shovel both our house and our neighbor’s (he has a hip problem)… but at least it didn’t take 6 hours.
‘Tis the season for stuck cars. I am glad you had a good holiday!
Kitties, just get yourselves off your furry butts and get out there to help Mom unbury her car. Now!
Hoping you get to stay warm and snuggly tonight and enjoy more lovely friends and family time. 🙂
Poor you! You are obviously unworthy of such a dreadful owner who would put digging out her car ahead of your dinners. You’d better come here where it rarely snows and there is turkey and beef to be had for good kitties.
I’ll get my flame thrower.
Hey Chaos, sounds like you had a tough time! But you all are more then welcome to visit me anytime to get away from all that awful white stuff! Wishing you a belated Mele Kalikimaka. 🙂
The absolute worst part about winter.
HOpe she digs out soon and feeds everyone tuna. 🙂 Or some yummy kitty treat.
Yeah, I had to dig the car out of the snowbank at the side of the road where I parked to pick up a quick xmas gift last week. Happy I was not.
Well, that blows.
*sigh*
dear chaos – our mom has been busy too – and it’s no fun, is it… but we’d be glad to come over and teach you some new games to play while she’s out (heh heh) it’s sure to keep you busy for awhile…
Lady Di and Miss Em
PS> our Mom said alot of those funny words when she came home too… guess it was because of our new ‘decorating’ scheme
Digging a car out of the snow? Ugh, no fun.
Well, if one people year equals 7 kitty years, then 1 hour equals 7 hours, so dinner was actually quite late, by the kitty time-clock!
On the other hand, the kitties got to spend the time lounging around in the warm while momma shovelled, so, sorry kitties, not much sympathy from here. Besides, I had my own car to dig out the other day…with no help from Pagan, Micha OR Raven….
Poor Chaos, May, and Chris! Sending warm, melting thoughts your way. 🙂 Glad you had a good holiday anyway.
