Update 2 from Jeanne

I did visit Chris last night, and she is very much back to her old self. I took a picture, which I assure you she is very excited about all of you seeing:

I think this a pretty good photo, under the circumstances. Notice the knitting off to her right. She is managing to keep herself amused, and expects to go home either Friday evening, or Saturday morning.

Sorry the picture is wonky. I don’t know what magic Chris performs to get her pictures in the way she normally does them. The two minute Stumbling Over Chaos blogging tutorial I got before she went in did not cover adding pictures. Perhaps she was trying to avoid this very thing?

  1. Chris looks like she is doing extremely well! I hope she gets to go home soon. I know the kitties miss her. I hope Chaos doesn’t hiss at her like he did at Mayhem when she came home from the vet. You be good, Chaos!

  2. Aw, she looks great! And considering the slinky little number the hospital has her wearing – well very well done!

We’ll be glad when you’re home Chris.

    🙂

  3. Thanks for posting about Chris, Jeanne. We appreciate it. Chris, you are looking good. Hope you get to leave the hospital today and that you are feeling better!

  4. Thanks for posting an update, Jeanne. Don’t worry about the wonkiness.

Chris, you’re looking pretty darn good. I look worse than that when I get up in the morning. 🙂 I’m glad your recovery is going well.

  5. Its a brave woman who allows a camera in their hospital room, but you look great! Lovely to see you smiling and looking well – best wishes

  6. Hey Chris, you look a WHOLE heckaofa lot better than the last time I was in the hospital. Glad you have some knitting with you. Did she sneak in the kitties?????

  7. Thanks for the update,
I’m so glad Chris is looking so well,
    clearly, knitting can fix anything.
Did you sneak Chaos and May in for a visit with their Mummy??

  8. Thank you for the update on Chris.. we all really appreciate you doing this Jeanne! I’m glad to see that she’s doing well and am awaiting her return here at the blog when she’s well.

  9. Yes, thanks for the update (the combined prayers & goodwishes of us all helped, I’m sure!) You DO look fine, m’dear – now listen, even when you DO feel 100% (and it may not take long) DO NOT — I repeat, do NOT–go back to work early. Take the full allowance of time for recovery because truly? Even when you feel 100%, you get flagged out very quick. (Besides, when again are you going to have some time to home, free from any Regular Daily Chazerai?) You’ll be fine by then – but perhaps I’ll bring you up some Genuine Jewish Bubbeh-brand homemade chicken soup…matzoh balls optional…when the daughter and I come up on the 25th to see CAP. You need but ask! :o)

  10. so glad that you are able to knit, Chis – and how the heck do you manage to look so adorable right after major surgery?? It’s nice to see!! thanks for the picture (and be sure to show it to Chaos and Mayhem so they know Mom is okay too)
I hope that the healing process is speedy for you.

  11. Ok I am SO behind I had NO idea that you were having surgery or why!! However I’m VERY happy to hear that you are doing better, are able to knit while there, and that Chaos and Mayhem will be plotting, er, awaiting your return!! LOL
