Edit: Hee hee – I wonder if they used Chaos as inspiration?!Â
I found another cat tummy or two myself. Chaos’ brother, Diablo (he’s on a diet!) – hmm, it’s a bit hard to tell, but doesn’t it look like he’s missing guard hair in the same spot Chaos is?! (I know, more exposed boy kitty nipples. Blog’s going to heck in a handbasket.)
A really bad shot of Chaos’ mom, Riley, and her white tummy spot – if it helps, part of her mouth is on the extreme upper left of the picture.
Our unsettled weather continues. Yesterday we had crazy, crazy wind. The big storms missed my area of Minneapolis, but the clouds over Lake Calhoun last night were pretty dramatic – these are from the south shore of Lake Calhoun, looking north toward downtown.
Ok, you busted me. I got nothin’! I’ve been doing all sorts of little things to get ready for vacation, but haven’t made a whole lot of knitting progress (although I am on the cuff of the second pink and black sock). Somewhere I have a reading update to post, too… I will post something else before I leave Monday, I promise!
Gratuitous Chaos shot to distract you…
*bite bite bite nip nip nip* -Chaos
Gratuitous shots of Chaos are ALWAYS welcome! So funny seeing Diablo – hard to believe they’re from the same Mom!
How long is your trip?
Love the cloud shots. Ominous skies like that fascinate me.
Hmmm, more kitty cheesecake.
We were out by Flying Cloud airport last night at 6:30 when clouds like those were rolling around – the boys were playing Lacrosse – we thought for sure we were going to be running for the cars. But no! It passed and the temp dropped about 40 degrees.
Diablo is handsome, too. And I love May’s frog pose from last post!
Lake effect!
That’s a tummy you could rub your face in!
Since both of them of are pleasantly plump, it could just be genetics. Chaos would never overeat!
Hey! We’re having the same weather!
That wind was wild last night! I’m amazed nothing blew over in the yard.
I love your cloud photos!
I love those kitty tummies and cloud shots! Have a really good vacation!
Why do I suddenly want to dsing “Ebony and Ivory”? Wait – are you leaving Monday – the 11th?? I need to get some stuff to you!!
It’s the Abdominable Snowcat! hee hee boy nipples, {snicker}
I stared at the second picture for almost 5 minutes. I don’t think I got it right though…
Hehe. More kitty nipples. I’m dying to know, what have your search terms been lately? 🙂
Have a great weekend Chris!
the cloud shots are beautiful
that’s the most cat nipples i’ve ever seen in one blog post ever. you win.
Mommie says she’s going to try for a tummy shot of me this weekend. I’ve got news for her. I don’t think she’ll get one!
Love Chaos shots ANYTIME!
meow
oh, delicious kitty tummys! what is it about cat belly fur that is so irresistible?
I admit, I am a Boo Kitty tummy snorgler. There, I’ve said it. He has a nearly bald tummy and for very visible nipples, plus you can feel his innie belly button.
I know way too much about my cat’s stomach. *hangs head in shame*
OK I’m still trying to figure out which end is up on the picture of Riley. Lobe the pics. We are having the same type of weather here, it has been so windy.
Wasn’t that about the most hyped storm that never happened ever. Where were these people 9 years ago when I got caught driving, in rush hour, with a 2 year old, in the hail storm of the century?
Have a good trip!
Love the pictures! Very cute kitties, and striking sky.
And if you need more to blog about while you have no knitting content, I saw on the I can has cheezburger site that the ban on elephant ivory is going to expire. I wrote up a big post about animal protection and such if you’re so inclined.
Impressive skies! I don’t suppose you can bring some MN lakes with you next week?? LOL! That is my biggest complain around here – reservoirs are called lakes!
We are having weird weather too here in California. It’s very cool for this time of year, but that makes the knitting more pleasant.
Well, with Chaos on the job you never need fear of being over run with stuffed rodents!
We had TWO tornado warnings at work yesterday afternoon!
I need to try to get a picture of Harley’s tummy, although she’s not very cooperative….
Chris- Kitty tummies and nips- have you no limits?
Diablo is quite handsome.
Well, I guess I’m going to have to jump on the bandwagon and follow my kitties around for some belly shots!
Cool looking clouds.
Inquiring feline minds want to know….
If you’ve got those big funny things out and you’re putting LOTS of stuff in them–who’s going to keep the feeding schedule and clean the litterbox? AND play fetch? Kitties can’t possible be responsible for picking up their own toys…… Bailey
PS-Like Riley, I have white spots on my pits and bits. But you’ll never see them online! The picture thing makes a funny noise adn I make a mad dash elsewhere.
Dearest May and Chaos – I’m now fairly convinced that I’m related to one of you… I tuck my head to play just like Chaos, and I have a white spot on my tummy just like May’s Mom…maybe all little black kitties do that…
Happy playing!
-Bailey
We had a storm like that roll through here early this morning. Wonderous shots you got there – very pretty!
It’s always great when Diablo visits, too 🙂
OK, WHAT is this blog rated? My goodness! Really, you should have a parental warning on your header.
Very amazing pics of the clouds.
i like diablo (i have a thing for white cats… my zach… i miss him!!!)
i’m going to post some pics of the feral kitties that have been hanging around my parents house. the tenant is feeding them and stuff and she’s going to get them fixed… yay! but they’re cute
Love the cloud shots. Bad weather makes for some gorgeous sights (especially when it goes around us).
BTW I have a little contest on my blog.
Hahahaha! I love the tummy photos. I’m going to have to post some of my own kitty tummies. 😉
what beautiful sky pictures, even if the weather was tumultuous (I never could spell that word).
Just for you, I’m posting a picture on my blog in a few minutes.
Finally got some rain–about a gazillionth of an inch. Still waiting for lacey shawl knitting plans!!!!! No pressure or anything. Also, more info, please on the choc-covered rice cakes? Brand? Where you find them? Puh-leeeze!
YAY Diablo!! Yeah that photo of Riley is a little Frankenstein-ish, haha. I can’t make heads or tails! Or paws!
Oooh, dark and scary skies! Funny to see Diablo too. And. All. The. Bellies. They’ve been a hoot! Here’s a question…I’ve been looking, but can’t find it… Did you recently (like in the last 2 weeks) post a link to some contest where the blogger was so thrilled to be with a new web host? Something like ihs hosting? I thought I bookmarked it, but can’t find it. I’ve even been back through all your posts and links…no luck. Sound familiar? I’m after her blog host (not the contest…though I’m pretty sure I entered it!).
Seriously… what is the current catnip toy count in your house?
Love the clouds over calhoun pics…
Hope your vacation is swell!
Happy knitting-
ali
Indeed I am a scorp. ::But I think I was adopted. I don’t have near the skills of alleged ilk.::
K.
Why? 😉
Gotta love those kitty tummies! Great clud shot, too.
Riley is in one cortortionist position! Maybe it’s the camera angle. Cute kitty tummies!
Nice cloud pics and kitty bellies. We finally got some rain this weekend after about a month with zero rain.
