Linkity survived the midterm elections (and voted, of course!)

Still on track with NaNoWriMo, although I don’t think my story makes any sense whatsoever. But that’s a problem for revisions! 😀 My thoughts on Day 4.

  1. Well, technically we still have to wait for the legislation to finalize the no more time change thing. But we’re one step closer! Yay!

I love the idea of Kingsley Shackelbolt as the Mauraders’ roommate at Hogwarts. Too funny.

And congrats on keeping up with NaNo! I’m far behind, but making progress on the “make a routine” aspect of it, which was my real goal for this year.
A recent post from Nicole..Today is Election Day in the United States. Please Vote!My Profile

  2. Um. That’s weird. I totally did not have that “please vote” blog post as my most recent blog. Maybe I had a typo in my web address in the prior comment?

  3. How dare you reduce your lapspace with that typewriter! (Love it, though!)

I hope Amazon wouldn’t be sending out toy catalogs to people who don’t buy toys. But since I just bought some games, I guess I’d better go update that option.

I’m pissed about Flickr since I recently spent a lot of time scanning old photos and uploading them there. What a lot of wasted time. At least they’re on my hard drive and backed up, so it’s no big deal to have them be deleted. My old blog posts won’t have photos, but c’est la vie. Ravelry’s the only thing I really care about, and Casey’s taking care of that. Of course he is.

  4. If it makes you feel better, the proposition passage doesn’t actually give us Daylight Savings Time year-round. It just opens up an inquiry into forming an exploratory committee into pursuing petitioning the government to let us take steps toward setting permanent DST up…someday. Or something like that. If there’s no lawsuit. Which, with most of our propositions, there often is. (I love California, but I dread all the props each year and most of the time NO ONE can figure out what they mean as written in the ballot guide.)

  5. im still really unclear about the appeal of chicken wings, let alone 200 of the suckers. There’s hardly any meat on them.
