Florida P.I., Dino Martini, is as old school as he can be in the modern age. The Perfect Timing series came about because, for reasons I’ve never quite been able to work out, I ended up writing about half a dozen books in a row that all revolved around the many and varied ways timing can make or break a relationship.

I figured that anyone reading them would either think I was obsessed with time or working on some sort of themed collection. The second option made me look a bit saner than the former, and so the series was born. For reasons that probably seemed good at the time, I decided there should be twelve books in the series. As soon as I started digging around in the back of my mind for a timely sort of title, Three Minute Man jumped out at me. I couldn’t resist. This book is the direct result of me giving in to that temptation.

Note: Pete and Trevor won’t have to go it alone. Wash and Rhodes, the crush-worthy heroes from Private Dicks, are along for the ride once again.

As I’ve mentioned before, I really enjoyed Private Dicks (sheesh, where are your minds?! It’s about private investigators – duh) and it’s become one of my comfort reads.

About Katie:

Katie Allen grew up in the Midwest with a horde of sisters (five) and one beleaguered brother. After an enjoyable four years working on her creative writing/art degree, and two not-so-pleasant years struggling towards her MBA, Katie somehow ended up as a mechanical engineer in Denver, Colorado. When her job disappeared during the recession, it was the kick in the rear that she needed to head back to Minnesota and jump into writing full-time.

When the glitter settles, a missing sculpture of Justin Timberlake has Caesar up to his eyebrows in extortion, intrigue and a wild sexual adventure underneath, inside, and on top of a variety of furnishings.
