Learning by Heart: Teachings To Free The Creative SpiritLearning by Heart: Teachings to Free the Creative Spirit by Corita Kent & Jan Steward. One of the best books about creativity I’ve ever read, despite it looking as if it was produced on a photocopier in the 1980s.
Magic for LiarsMagic for Liars by Sarah Gailey. I’m still not sure how I feel about this one. The POV character is an unreliable narrator who admits she’s a liar right off the bat. She’s also a PI who’s hired to solve a suspicious death at a California boarding school for mages, where her estranged sister teaches. It definitely sucked me in, because I read it in one evening. But right now when I think about the book, it’s like there’s a very small pebble in my shoe – a small but persistent irritation.

Living Color: Painting, Writing, and the Bones of SeeingLiving Color: Painting, Writing, and the Bones of Seeing by Natalie Goldberg. What it says on the tin. This took me a while to get into, but I ended up quite liking it.

American GodsAmerican Gods Tenth Anniversary Edition by Neil Gaiman. I wonder how many times I’ll have to read this to completely grok what’s going on? Maybe that’s not even possible. ANYWAY. There’s a short story about Shadow in Fragile Things, too.

Maskerade (Discworld, #18)Maskerade (Discworld #18) by Terry Pratchett. Nanny Ogg and Granny Weatherwax in the big bad city, helping out a fellow witch who’s resisting her witching destiny by singing with opera.
Carpe Jugulum (Discworld, #23)Carpe Jugulum (Discworld #23) by Terry Pratchett. Not a favorite – there are too many inconsistencies with how Agnes Nitt was portrayed in #18 vs here.
That Ain't Witchcraft (InCryptid, #8)That Ain’t Witchcraft (InCryptid #8) by Seanan McGuire. The crossroads vs everyone!
Night Watch (Discworld, #29)Night Watch (Discworld #29) by Terry Pratchett. reread. I enjoyed this the first time I read it, but I liked it even more on the reread.
The Quite Nice and Fairly Accurate Good Omens Script BookThe Quite Nice and Fairly Accurate Good Omens Script Book by Neil Gaiman. Boom! Six months ago, if you’d tried to tell me I’d really enjoy reading two books about a guy whose first name is “Moist”, I would’ve backed slowly away from you. Raising Steam was a dnf. It… was not readable as a Terry Pratchett book. 🙁
