Ebook Giveaway: Sinnerman (Warder #4) by Mary Calmes [CONTEST CLOSED]

Many thanks to Mary Calmes for donating an ebook copy of her forthcoming paranormal m/m romance, Sinnerman (Warder #4), for a lucky commenter to win! Sinnerman will be released by Dreamspinner Press on June 17.

As a warder, Jackson Tybalt is one of the good guys until he sees the man he loves kissing another. Betrayed and angry, Jackson tempts danger and death, ignoring the pleas of other warders to be careful. It’s a vile mood in which to start a romance, but that doesn’t stop the kyrie Raphael, who more than anything wants Jackson for his very own.

Jackson doesn’t want a hearth, he doesn’t want a lover – he just wants dark and painful, and Raphael will give him what he wants. But sometimes the sins of the flesh are just what a body needs to bandage the wounds of the heart, and Raphael will hide the tenderness he feels for Jackson for as long as the warder wears the guise of the Sinnerman.

About Mary

My name is Mary Calmes and I have been writing since I was in the seventh grade. One of my first stories ever was about Demetrius and Konor, two big strapping gorgeous knights and while it was not historically accurate in any way, hello, seventh grade, the one thing that became glaringly obvious was that the guys liked each other more than the damsels in distress they were trying to save.

“Boys don’t sleep in the same bed when they’re grown-ups,” my mother said when I read it to her.

“Men don’t talk nice to each other like that,” my step-father said that night.

They do in m/m fiction which I was destined to write.

I tried really hard to write a female lead but it just left me flat. I read all kinds of different books and I have favorite writers in every genre but I can only write about men. The dynamics between two men are more interesting to me and as a woman, I like men and the idea of two men together, two beautiful men… I don’t understand the question.

When people tell you that they’ve enjoyed something you’ve written, there really is no greater feeling.

You can find out more about Mary at her website or her blog.

  1. Sign me up please!

May, honey, your mommy can’t throw your orange mouse when you lay on it. Just sayin’.

  2. I love a tortured hero. He sounds like he’s in a self-destructive mode. He doesn’t want to feel any emotions. Please count me in!

  3. Mayhem, you are so hard-done-by! You tell Mom she’d best get busy and throw that orange mouse – immediately!!

    *waving at Chris*

  4. Count me in too, please!
But as others have mentioned, May, you might want to get off of the mouse first! 🙂

  5. Well, May, my husband plays fetch with kitties, and he won’t throw the mouse until the kitty places the mouse on his foot. Playing fetch is a two-way street.

Surprisingly, he has gotten cats to play fetch by his rules.
