Ready to branch out in knitting for your cats? Tired of knitting cat sweaters and ready to knit something different? Try a cat beret or a stylish Thai-inspired hat…
Speaking of cats wearing knitting…
“Psst – May?” -Chaos
“What, big kitty?” *sniff sniff* -Mayhem
“Run!” -Chaos
“Wha…?” -Mayhem
“Poop.” -Mayhem
Please excuse the exceptional blurriness of these next photos – apparently I need to improve the lighting under my ottoman if I intend to take many action shots there…
“I can escape, dagnabbit!” -Mayhem
“Ooomph.” -Mayhem
“Whew! That was exhausting.” -Mayhem
“Even though I’m free now, I’m not looking at you, Mom. I am mad at you, you meanie!!” -Mayhem
Oh, oh! I saw those hats! Those cats do not look happy to me and I don’t think Chaos or May will keep those hats on long enough for you to take a picture 😉
Oh, May does look rather fetching in that colour…
How funny is that beret and Thai hat??!
Poor mistreated creatures…
Do any of those have the lingering aroma of beer on them? 😉 At least you don’t knit them a freaky laptop cozy.
I want to make one of those kitty hats just in the hopes that someone asks what I’m knitting.. and I think that the beret would go smashingly with one of those sweaters. Did you show those sites to the kitties and let them know that there are worse humiliations in the world than bib modeling?
Omg that thai hat! *dies with the funny*
I think I spy cotton I sent Chris! Am I right?
Good going May!!
May-dini!
Ah,hahahaha! I’m picturing a Roadrunner type swoosh behind Chaos after that first picture!
Oh my god, that picture of the cat in that Thai hat nearly made me shoot coffee out of my nose.
You tell her, May! Go cough up a hairball in her shoes.
This version of “The Cat in the Hat” is even better than Dr. Seuss’s! 🙂
Poor unsuspecting May! I love the look on her face in the second photo.
Chris- Such brave kitties.
Even I’M scared of the dreaded bibs.
You are a meanie…ha! But so funny.
Knitting for my katkids? As cute as those cat hats are. No way, don’t need anymore scars on my hands than I already have from day to day cat maintenance.
Hey, those escaping lessons from Big Kitty really helped!
So are you going to have to get a third cat, if you make more bibs??? ‘Cause you know you won’t be able to use your previous models again …
Holy bib-ville! You’ve been knitting up a storm.
That cat beret is tres magnifique.
Crap thats a lot of bibs!
So cute baby kitties! And yes, you need a professional setup under all your furniture.
Well at least Chaos tried to warn her. Too funny. I like the beret.
cats love wearing stuff all the time.
You would think, wouldn’t you? But, yet, I still put down my knitting, knowing full well that Esau Marie will lay on it. Maybe, these are unwritten laws in kittyworld.
hahahah
“Poop”
lololol!
Poor May…Mommie is sorry.
(aren’t you, Chris?)
(((hugs)))
Found any hairballs in your shoes yet? LOL The bibs are cute but I’m not sure you should try the beret!
Hehe! Poor Mae. At least she managed to get free this time. Though it may make future bib-photos more difficult…
You are a bib knitting machine!
I think May would look very cute in a purple and black version of the Thai kitty hat. I’ll stay out here in CA while you try it on her.
Have a great weekend!
Amazing! Not that cats wear hats, but that the owners don’t get mauled in the process! My cat is extremely miffed over the collar tied about her neck yesterday.
Chaos and Mayhem are much to beautiful to need these accessories, anyway, don’t you think?
Poor May! Cats in bibs—my personal favorite! LOL!
Yes, poor little kitties, to be so mistrested!
Hee hee! Poor May! And under the ottoman, no less!
May, I think you would be da bomb in a Thai hat. Really. Ask mom to knit you one.
OMG, the Thai hat is just too funny! I have enough trouble with the bibs.
Poor May. Next time, listen to Chaos.
The thought of you putting lights under your ottoman to improve the cat photography has me in giggles.
oh boy i have not be able to keep up with my blogs for a long time …some disappeared all together….but i’m so glad to find two of my most favorite furries still around to give share a laugh!
yeah may the super escape artist!
*giggle* Esme is really starting to make use of the bibs you and Jeanne knit for her 😉
Hehe, May May 🙂 You’ll just have to run faster when the bibs appear!
Haha! A Thai hat! Haha!
the great escape… too funny.
I see the hats made it to your Ravelry queue. I’m not sure if I should be more worried for May, Chaos, or you… 😛
Ok how do they not rip those bibs apart?!?!!?
Man, she fell for it again. You’d think they’d see you coming with those bibs. Lucy sends condolences.
Oh no, not again LOL!
