Reading Update
Imposters and
Shatter City (Imposters 1-2) by Scott Westerfeld. Intense first-person POV young adult scifi about an identical twin whose existence is kept secret so she can serve as her famous sister’s body double. Compulsively readable, but cliffie. ARGH. The sequel to Imposters is a little bit less of a cliffhanger, but still… Also, the next two books in the series haven’t been released yet, so it will be a while on that cliffie.
“Oh no, did I leave the oven on?!” -Mayhem
That chicken enchilada casserole needs to be in my mouth now.
But since I have none of the ingredients, and DH doesn’t eat meat, it’s very, very unlikely to happen.
My apologies to those movies, too. And I too saw the news about LibraryThing going free, and I’m happy that I was able to support it by buying a lifetime membership back in the day so that it could get to this point of being free for everyone. Maybe since I am staying home 24/7 now I will see about updating my LT again…
Thanks for the pingback!
Ugh I need so sign up for tumbrl, why you making it so difficult tman! 😉
The only reason the Wisconsin legislature has not done that same damned thing about drag queen story hour is that the Senate leader sent all the senators home a couple months ago. The Assembly in February. While it means stuff doesn’t get done, it also means they can’t get up to mischief.
