It’s probably good that I live on totally the other side of the valley from Ikea. That 1-hour-plus round-trip drive keeps me from going more than once every year or two.

wow, this may be the BEST LINKITY EVER!!!! Susie from Calvin and Hobbes, Emperor Han, the censorship piece by nonbinarypastels, the maligned female characters, an auroral arc visible from my very own country, why youth fight back, why we should all self-care— *explodes in happiness*
I’m waiting for the standoff between the flat-Earthers and the hollow-Earthers! 😀
I love the reasoning & proofs Neil de Grasse Tyson uses to explain complicated science stuff!
I am going to knit a river otter someday. Promise.
Love the Parsletongue bit. That’s really funny. And while I do miss more depth to Wrinkle in Time (the movie) I think they’re trying to make it more accessible to today’s youth. (I don’t think they’re giving all of today’s youth enough credit; I think many young people today can still understand at least some of the depth that they removed. But I can see why they made their choices.)
And I LOVE the spaceman spiff story. So cool.
