Noroesque socks finished!

On Saturday, I finished the Noroesque socks from the yarn I’d dyed using the KnitPicks sock blanks. They are taller than my sock blockers! I did have more of the gold left, but if I’d continued knitting, I would’ve had to fuss with calf increases. I was feeling lazy. 🙂

“Ha! These socks must not be stripey enough for Mayhem to deign to notice them, so they’re all mine!” -Chaos

“Wait, where did she come from?!” -Chaos

“Mmmm… vaguely stripey socks…” -Mayhem

  1. Poor Chaos! You’ve got to be faster, though May could let you have some things.
Too bad about not using all the Gold! That was my favourite part 😉

  2. Lovely dyeing job! Glad to know the white spots didn’t interfere too much with the beauty of the socks.

My, those blanks give you plenty to work with, don’t they?!

  3. Chris- That is the first time those sock blanks have made any sense to me. They’re really pretty.

Farmer’s Almanac is predicting a cold and snowy winter- well Duh!

  4. Ooh.. I like those! I think its funny though that I tend to really like colors in socks that I wouldn’t wear on the rest of my body.
May would be very happy in my house.. there are many many stripey socks here. Unfortunately they’re mostly store bought.

  5. I like the way those look! But it’s a good thing to know that the KnitPicks sock blanks give you a LOT of yarn… in other words, unless you want tall socks, be careful how you dye the yarn!

  6. They look great!!! Nicely done!! Dang.. I might have to break down and get some sock blanks.. but but but.. I don’t do socks really really no!!
    hehe
