Ebook Giveaway: Priority One by Stephani Hecht [CONTEST CLOSED]

Many thanks to Stephani Hecht for donating an ebook copy of her forthcoming m/m romance, Priority One! Priority One will be released on August 1 by eXtasy Books.

It’s never easy being the new guy in town. Especially when you’re gay, single and broke. Not only does Dylan fall into every one of those categories, but he’s also homeless and heartbroken as well – all before he’s celebrated his twenty-first birthday. Even though his older brother, Lucas, let him move in and found him a job at the local EMS company, Dylan has never felt lower. He’s been hurt and betrayed by everyone he loved, with the lone exception of Lucas. Dylan vows he’ll never open himself up to the pain that comes with caring about others. If that means he dies alone and bitter, then so be it. It sure as hell beats getting kicked in the ass by life again.

After working nearly ten years as a firefighter for Flint, Kaleb has seen all kinds of misery and broken spirits. Just when he thought nobody could tug at his heartstrings anymore, along comes a young, shy, dark-haired paramedic named Dylan. Even though he tries to ignore it, the haunted expression in Dylan’s gaze draws Kaleb in and before he knows it, he finds himself falling for the younger man. But will Kaleb be able to convince Dylan to open his heart one more time or will the past destroy both of their hopes for a future?

  1. Count me in on this one, Chris. Reading the blurb sucked me right in! I think Chaos might have a little panther in there somewhere, too. Just look at those eyes and my what sharp claws you have!

  2. Poor Chaos. I used to have that same look when I was a kid and my mother pulled my hair into pigtails. She was mean, and enjoyed it,too! lol

Please enter me in this drawing. The book sounds great!

    Thanks,
    Donna

  3. Please count me in!

Chaos, it could be worse. My hubby flips Saru-chan’s ears over so she almost looks like a Scottish Fold. It’s not a flattering look for her either. He does the same thing to Victor (the dog), but it just makes him look goofy and aerodynamic.

  4. Remember when we used to blog about what we did everyday, our knitting, travels and other fun stuff? Now we seem to be off in different directions. At least Chaos and Mayhem are the same.

Chaos is NOT a happy kitty! I wouldn’t want to be on the business end of those claws.

  6. ahh Chaos – you just need your samuari sweat band, and the look is complete
(geesh – the things our cats do for the blog!)

  7. Chaos is right, it’s a well known fact that ears always make cats prettier. (It’s a lesson from yaoi. All those cat-eared boys… lol)

Enter me in the giveaway, please.

  8. Hmmm…why do I suddenly have the Lady and the Tramp song “We are Siamese if you please. We are Siamese if you don’t please.” going through my head?

Please enter me in the contest. And, um, I think I’m in the mood for spaghetti now…

  9. Count me in please, this book sounds great.

Chaos – that look does nothing for ya, just saying.

  10. See, ever time when I think no more eBooks until I’ve read what I’ve already got you tempt me with another one!
