Whew!

For anyone who missed the late afternoon update yesterday, all is well – just lots and lots of tiny cysts leading to something that felt very, very wrong (and very unlike the cysts IÒ€ℒm more used to). Thank you all so much for the well wishes and healthy thoughts! You guys are the best. πŸ™‚

Jane’s having a contest – tell her how many pairs of socks you could knit from the sock yarn in  your stash and guess how many pairs she could knit from her stash. Leave her a comment with your guesses by July 11 at midnight, EDT, and you could win!

Eklectika is having a contest to celebrate her birthday – leave her a comment by 7/16, 3:22 am, and you could win a handmade spindle or lucet.

XRX, Inc., (which has a lot to answer for regarding the last several years of Knitters magazine) is having a sock design contest that runs until January 1, 2009. Grand prize is $6000.

  1. I missed the update so I am VERY happy to hear you’ll be fine. I love you parenthesis behind XRX…grrl, do they!
Chaos you are a very smart kitty.

  2. Chris- That’s the worst kind of angst, but bear in mind that most of what we tend to worry about never happens. I’m glad you’re okay.

    Bibs for all!

  3. So glad to hear everything is OK! I’m sure the kitties were pleased, too. Now they won’t have to be all worried about where they’ll get their tuna.

  4. Whew! Glad to hear things are okay.

I agree with you about the last few years of Knitters. They really need to stop smoking whatever it is they’re smoking over there and start publishing designs that don’t look like a giant monster ate the contents of a yarn shop and then threw up in the middle of a street.

  5. HAHAHAHA to what Marsha said about Knitters!

    Nice preemptive move Chaos.

Glad to hear little cysts are the culprit and not an unconquerable issue.

Bloglines is not your friend today – they were blog-blocking you, or me?

  6. I’m so glad all is relatively well. The cysts are liveable? Or do you need them removed? I’m hoping they are liveable. Chaos has lived the shame and is working to avoid it. He’s a smart boy;-)

  7. OMG! And here I thought I was the only one who thought Knitter’s Magazine had gone COMPLETELY around the bend. I am not renewing my subscription because of the bad dreams! Cysts is scary, but I know from experience, very different from the other. I am (knock wood) 8 years post-mastectomy. Wouldn’t wish it on anyone, ‘specially not a sweetie like you.

  8. There’s nothing quite like waiting for important health news and then the relief when you find out all is well.

I thought I couldn’t be the only one who wondered what the heck happened to Knitters mag.

    Smart move, Chaos!

  9. i smell a bib!

i’m sure chaos looks just as good in pink as may does…hehhehheh

glad to hear you’re on the mend (or on the mend-ish)

sending big hugs and many scritches!

  10. Glad you are well. I thought cysts weren’t supposed to hurt, or be bothersome, yet you are having problems, they caused problems when my cousin gave birth, and they are causing my dad problems on his kidneys–oh, then there is the joy of female facial hair that comes along with polycystic ovaries. I’m so sick of health issues! Sorry you are having them.
