Thank you all so much for your well wishes!! Who wouldn’t feel better after reading that? 🙂
I did manage to spend a bit of time upright, working on my Not-So-Red (NSR) Anne Jaywalkers.
(please excuse the amazing clash between my green sweatpants and the NSR Anne socks)
Chaos was apparently feeling a bit camera shy, but possessive of the socks.
“All the Jaywalkers are mine! Mine! Bwah-ha-ha!”
Notice anything missing in this picture? (Besides all the tails I had to rip off the mice in an attempt to make them acceptable, of course.)
“But… where is my SRM??”
Glad to hear you’re feeling better. Those Jaywalkers look great. I like the Not-So-Red even better than red. Hope your convalescence continues and that you’re up and knitting again soon.
Your Jaywalkers are gorgeous. I have a pair of blue and green garter rib Anne socks on the needles. I’m wondering if I should rip them out and make Jaywalkers instead? I think my repeat intervals are different, though, so I don’t know how they would look knit up…
I’m so glad to read that you’re feeling better. And your Not-So-Red socks are looking fabulous!
Who says cats are aloof and mysterious? They just want socks. And tailless mice. Your Jays look great!
Glad you’re feeling better. Funny, I always wear green sweatpants when I’m sick, too……….
Love the Jaywalkers!!!!!!!
Great to have you back! The Jaywalkers are lovely and so is Chaos.
All the mice are tailless in our house too. But the strange thing is all the tails have disappeared.
Yay, I’m so glad you’ve joined the land of the living!
You still haven’t found the sparkly red mouse? (((Chaos)))
Maybe Chaos has transferred his passion for the SRM by fixating on the Beautiful Red Socks! Maybe?
Glad you seem to be on the mend.
I’m surprised your mice are all colelcted in one spot. Perry hides his, and I have to hunt them down so I can keep them occupied. There’s rarely more than one floating around the house at a time.
Cats would be so much easier to live with if they didn’t know instantly when we were trying to put one over one them!
I’m loving that NSR Anne in the Jaywalker pattern!
So glad to hear Chaos didn’t really knock you off and take over the blog. He was doing a horrible job, BTW. No knitting photos, no cute stories. Don’t ever get him a book deal.
Hope you are not eating chicken again!
Welcome back to blogland. Your faithful readers missed you and Chaos, while stunning to look at, didn’t have much to say.

Welcome back, err that is, to posting ;o) J is still hugging his 7-Up bottle possessively. I’m amazed you were able to get so much work done on your socks!
Are you absolutely certain Chaos didn’t eat the SRM? Are there little bits of up-until-now unexplained SRM bits lying about? j/k
Sorry you weren’t feeling well:( Your jaywalkers are looking good, what yarn are you using?
Thank you for posting Knitting Olympics buttons. I have found my team in “Team Chocolate, Coffee, Merlot.” I couldn’t decide, and now my problem is solved.
My jack bites the tails off immediately upon receipt of mice. Then once that’s taken care of they can be played with.
Solid white and orange/white mice are preferable. Unless I’ve got some leopard print with feathers sticking out their rears.
He doesn’t give a rat’s tailfeathers about socks, though. More for Chaos, I guess.
