Chaos and May hanging out on a typical wild evening around here…
“Dum de dum de dum de dum…” -Chaos
“What? Cat carrier?! What cat carrier?!?? This is a spiffy kitty bed. You and your notions, Mom.” -Mayhem
Here’s a closer look at Mayhem in the, um, “kitty bed.” This photo was taken with a flash, and features May’s speedy squint reflex.
“So bright! Why do you always try to blind me, Mom?” -Mayhem
Without flash… sure, you can’t see her body at all, but you do get a much better idea of how very, very wide her eyes are.
“Much better without the blinding light. Why don’t you always take pictures this way?” -Mayhem
Awwwww, they are so cute.
Miss Mayhem has huge eyes, even in the dark.
Silly May, that’s for Chaos to play in! Your Mother thinks she can trap him in there 😉
Ok. You guys better calm yourselves waaaaay down. Seriously. You keep that up and someone is going to get a..a…cramp or something.
Aw… aren’t they cute! Bartholamew always loved sleeping in the cat carrier/special kitty box until Pepper came along and it didn’t just smell like him LOL
Hehe – our cats would never go any where near the cat carrier! She has beautiful eyes!
Oh, I wish it were that easy to get Atticus in to the carrier… *sigh*
That’s how Gandalf looks – demonic with the flash, angelic and innocent without it!
Is someone going some place?
Yeah – where are they going?
Shhhhh… Chaos is going to the vet for shots Thursday… But I do always leave the cat carrier out so it’s familiar to them.
I love the dark picture of May.
Chis- She looks perturbed that you blew her cover.
Even if I don’t have the flash on, Choobs closes his eyes when I take a pic of him.
He’s so vain.
Tell Mayhem she is a very pretty girl.
that cat carrier needs a water faucet, i meant to make it the ultimate bed for May
My poor catchenal units don’t fall for that whole FAMILIARITY gambit.
On the other hand…. mine are hard plastic.
Chaos and Maymay, your excitement, you contains it!
Too bad it’s Chaos that needs to go in the container and not May. She really likes to snuggle up in unusual places. She looks very Halloween Cat in the non-flash photo.
The cat’s been Dissillusioned: she is merely a pair of eyeballs floating in the dark.
My babies used to cuddle up in the kitty carrier too (back when I had one that fit both of them). She’s got such a cute face! Smoosh!
Okay I absolutely love the last picture with just the glowing eyes. Very cool.
I used to have a black t-shirt that looked a lot like that last photo of May — nothing on it but the eyes.
Simon used to like to hang out in the cat carrier. Harley, though, can’t be fooled!
Aww, Mayhem, what pretty eyes you have!
What a nice cat carrier – much homier than most. Glad to see they enjoy it as a place to hide out. Will send good kitty vibes to Chaos from Pogo, as soon as she wakes up enough to be registered alive! *snooze cat crashed in corner*
Last time I brought out that kind of kitty bed I ended up with some fantastically gruesome looking scratches. Good thing I didn’t get a case of cat scratch fever to go with them.
So, May is a Cheshire cat? All eyes and smile?
I am mui impressed at the “kitty bed” that has been claimed by May. If you ask Millie, we have a similar “bed” which is primarily used to “supervise” the front door. Ours, however, has significantly less padding. Fancy, if Bailey has figured out it’s real purpose…maybe it’s because she’s little…
Okay, I finally see the big Mayhem eyes! I’d been looking too far up.
What a nice bed she’s claimed! Hez has claimed mine.
It looks remarkably like a wild evening at our house. 🙂 The cat carrier does make a spiffy cat bed. Katie okay with it until it’s time to actually put her in it.
So, where is the “wild evening” part?
I don’t think she’d like hanging out in there if you swooped over and shut her up in it for a trip to the Vet. My kitties are wary of their carriers. Well, all except Ranger. He hasn’t *got* it yet. He’ll learn.
Hmph. I’ve tred leaving the kitty carrier out for months hoping they would think of it as a nifty hidey hole. No luck. They hates it. With the fiery passion of white hot suns!
I think May could take over if the Cheshire Cat ever retires. : )
