I have a question for anyone using a Feliway diffuser – I put one out about three weeks ago and can’t tell if it’s actually diffusing effectively. The little jar is still about 2/3 full and the outside bottom of the jar seems to be collecting liquid – that doesn’t seem quite right to me.
I’m knitting myself a new scarf, but it’s simply too boring to bother sharing a picture. It’s, um, black, from Wendy Velvet Touch (100% nylon) – one of the few yarns that doesn’t make my neck itch. Silly neck.

If you’re keeping track, you’ll know that my queue now includes season one of Lost (conceivably Deb would like me to return that someday), season six of 24, and now season one of Jericho. To balance out the tv stuff, Carrie included a lovely black kitty girl bookmark and a “If only I could get paid to read all day” bookmark. She didn’t forget Chaos and Mayhem, either – they got some fun’n’froofy catnip toys. Thanks, Carrie!

I think your Feliway diffuser may not be diffusing well. I tried one for awhile and it was perfectly dry on the outside of the glass. I could see beads of fluid on the inside, though, the way one does when there is warm liquid in a glass container.
Can you explain in English what a Feliway diffuser is 😉

I doesn’t sound like your Feliway is working correctly. Mine last about a month – so the level should be lower by now. They stay dry on the outside, except for a bit of residue around the top where it comes out. I’ve had some success with mine – it seems to curb some of the scratching and definitely helps with aggression issues. Of course, the ‘nip helps that too!

Yeah, it sounds like there is something wrong with your diffuser. Liquid should not collect around the outside, and you should have used more than just a third of a bottle.
I would have to agree that your diffuser sounds faulty because I can’t ever remember there being liquid on the outside.

Lost was fabulous the first season. From then on? Not so much. Hopefully they can turn it around, if the writers strike ever ends. It’s all about books & DVD’s.

I agree with everything they all said about the Feliway; take it back and ask them to replace the diffuser (you’re in MN and I b’lieve the guys there are like the guys here in WI & will replace it no problem). I use it most of the time – when it’s run out Lilliane renews her membership in Rat’s Angels and Lives to Cause Trubble; then I know it’s time to put in a new bottle. (I lurve your cats.) Also…Furiousball? Were you at that concert in Peace Park on West Bank that time…’cause I think that’s what we all ate afterward…. {{evil grin}}

And, I wore the scarf you made me when I interviewed. I like having something soft and warm with me when I interview, especially made by a friend. Everyone is so stiff for interviews. It helps me relax and feel comfortable. When I interviewed in 2002, I used the bag you gave me and several people commented on how much they loved it!
