Second knitted holiday present finished!

MrsPao has been posting about our visit to the Minnesota State Fair!

Jeanne’s posted about her visit on Saturday – complete with some pictures of me… Deb blogged about our lunch together on Monday – she got some great kitty pictures and even one of me. Gosh, I like this metablogging stuff – I’ll just blog about people blogging about me. 🙂

You all realize that I’m going to get way, way behind in my blog reading, right? If you’d like me to mention a contest, please send me an email!

Ok, on to some knitting. Been a while since we talked about that stuff. 😉 Before my surgery, I finished the baby cable socks, which will be a holiday present. That brings my total completed knitted holiday presents to two! (Not sure how many knitted presents I’m doing – just winging it at this point.)

“You all can just wait to look at the socks.” -Chaos

“What do we have here? New socks? Cool! Move over, big kitty!” -Mayhem

“Hey!” -Chaos

“Mayhemmmmmmmmmmm. I was here first! I’m the big kitty!” -Chaos

*innocent whistling* -Mayhem

“Hmph!” -Chaos

“Neener neener neener, big kitty!” -Mayhem

“The taste of victory is sweet! Bwa-ha-ha!” -Mayhem

  1. Oh man, that is FUNNY! I remember doing the same thing – passing out my “goodies” after I had my surgery!

And Deb took some funny pictures of the kitties!

    Awww, look at them…!

  2. LOL, gotta love your assertive little girl. Nothing like messing it up with the boys. I almost feel bad for poor Chaos. You are two knitted gifts ahead of me.

  3. Chris- It’s great that you have a hobby that amuses the kitties so much.
You realize, don’t you, that your needs are totally secondary to theirs?

  4. “Metablogging”! Love it!
Yes, it is kind of you to knit for the cats, and in return they permit you to capture their likenesses for your and our enjoyment. Seems fair to me.

  5. Go Mayhem! Show the big kitty who is boss!

I’m working on scarves for gifts this year, and it’s nice that I finally started early. Not a fan of stress knitting!! Glad you are getting your gifts done too.

  6. Lovely socks–what I can see of them! Such curious kitties; I love the pictures Deb took of the cats during your lunch. Glad you seem to be recuperating well!

  7. you know – for someone who is supposed to be resting, you do a really poor imitation of that (*grin*)
It’s nice to see you moving about (truth be told)
Love the pic’s of you dumping all that useless paraphanaelia (cannot spell it tonight)
tell chaos and may to keep you lying down a bit longer, okay???

  8. It’s a good friend who passes on the unrequired tampons!
The photos are gorgeous, May has such a big tail.
Keep resting as it will help speed up your recovery.
