…makes Chris a very dull blogger. So dull in fact (brace yourself, Jeanne), I’m going back to the Shepherd’s Harvest pictures again.
I bought some yarn while I was there – a ball of Trekking with bamboo (the same colorway that Jeanne and Renee bought) and 662 yards of laceweight silk that I’ll dye sometime when I’m feeling brave.
“I know that the minute I lunge in for a taste of this yarn, Mom’s going to snatch it away from me. Hmph.” -Mayhem
Just one more picture of that adorable black Shetland lamb…
…and of the baby pygmy goat. I think I would name him Oreo.
“Mmmm… baby pygmy goat. Tasty! Probably. Although maybe squirmier than my usual kitty food.” -Mayhem
I had no idea yesterday when I posted pictures of Mayhem’s ‘tocks that it would inspire others to post pictures of their kitties’ ‘tocks…
Rosemary is having a contest – the first person to guess what was added to the pictured drink for a photo shoot wins one of her lovely shawl pins (Designs by Romi). Contest ends by midnight PDT, May 27.
Have a great holiday weekend, everyone! My plans are to knit, read, catch up on bloglines, dye some yarn with Jeanne and Deb, get out for a walk or two, and just plain relax. See y’all Tuesday!
I’M FIRST!!!!!!
I’d name the goat Oreo too.
Did I ever tell you I used to have a dog named Ice Cream?
Have a great long weekend Chris!!
I think my guys would have issues with ‘tock pictures, but I figure if I sneak up on them…! *sigh* I want Oreo! And the black little sheepie…
Sounds like a plan. Let’s all relax. We are heading up the mountain to go camping at a relatives cabin. I am knitting the whole weekend, and good luck movin’ my butt out of the chair!
So cute 🙂 Mmmm… Oreos…..
I’d also like a black sheepie 🙂
Oreo! Except that would make me think of chocolate and, well, you know about the chocolate ban here…
I would like Oreos and ice cream for breakfast, please.
Chris- We like the Shepherd’s Harvest pics!
I have a great backyard- just large enough for a nice shetland lamb!
My May, what big teeth you have!
The little black Shetland will so-o blend in! Chaos & May won’t even notice that it is a little bit different 😉
Sheep!
Have a great long weekend.
My plans are the same – except add in Fish-Fry and Northern Wisconsin. Yay!
Chaos & May – you make sure she relaxes!
Hey gal, have a GREAT weekend!
You realize now that I’m going to be stalking my cats for a ‘tock pic right?
aw, the little pygmy goat definitely looks like an oreo.
Kashka was Oreo when I adopted her. couldn’t quite figure that out – she’s missing a layer of chocolate 😉 and I couldn’t fathom calling her that.
I’m thinking of pulling out the dye pot this weekend too. Just wish I had some fingering weight to throw in too…
You can never have too many lamb and baby goat pics. I think Oreo would be a great name for the goat. Have a great relaxing weekend!
Ahem – “Goats of small stature” please! I believe there was a class action suit previosly filed on our behalf. You will recall we are greatly offended by the “P” word. That is all.
I’m telling you some mint jelly and you’re in business.
Have a fun weekend! 🙂
Hoop thinks you’re a bad influence on me now because I keep talking about getting a goat.
He’s lucky it’s not a cat! 😉
Have a great weekend!
Have a great weekend, read, knit, and relax, that’s what I’m planning to do too.
Pretty Trekking color!
Have a great weekend…
(((hugs)))
I can’t wait to see how your dye project comes out!
Mayhem appears to have started the ‘tocks revolution. Watch out, world! Kitties everywhere are going to be flashing you! 🙂
Enjoy the weekend!
I hope you have a great weekend! I think the pygmy goat would be a little more rambunctious than Mayhem is used to from her meals. But the goat and lamb are very cute.
Ahem. I had to go to Urban Dictionary to find out what ‘tocks was short for. (Yes, sometimes I am SO lame.) Now I need to take a pic of my dogs’ ‘tocks. Actually, I’d take a picture of their “chaps,” the long, fluffy fur on the backs of their legs, which is what I thought you were referring to until I looked it up. Ahem again.
Have a great and relaxing weekend!
Oreo!
Thinking the condo association doesn’t have to know anything about it – you could have an inside goat 😉
OK, I’m not the only one who didn’t know what ‘tocks was short for. I thought it was a fun word for cat socks. After viewing everyone else’s photos, I realize they are but-tocks. Silly me.
Personally, I have a thing for horse ‘tocks. Is that weird? ‘Tocks and noses.
Oreo! Perfect name for him.
Your plans sound like mine, minus the dyeing. Have a good weekend!
heh – pretty sheep and what pretty fangs you have May! I do hope those goats escape 😉 So far our Tessa goat still looks at the cats as funny squirrels running by.
Nice plans for the weekend – I hope it goes idyllic as planned.
You sure did start a trend. I don’t think my cat would sit still for a behind the scenes photo…but I’l try. 😉
You’re not letting May and Chaos see all those photos are you?!
I miss my cat now. he died almost a year ago now.
Ok had to laugh that others posted pictures of ‘tocks’s too!! I was planning on doing the same, just havent gotten around to it. Funny how a cute picture can inspire others to follow, even if it is kitty butts!!! LOL
kitty ‘tocks can just be the cutest… esp when they’re all flattened out or extra fluffy (like Lucy’s)
Bartholamew looked at me in a way that told me in no uncertain terms that I was going to get HIS ‘tocks on the web. He’s turning into such a grumpy ol’ kitty 🙂
Oreo is such a great name 🙂
Chris, I don’t think it’s even possible for you to be a dull blogger….
That pic of May is SO funny! lol
Oreo…mmm. Wonder if it? he? she? – the sweet kid could be the mascot?
