- More clickbait book titles. (Or are these the same ones I’ve posted before?! It blurs…)
Think, Learn, Make, Do
- Newly discovered species of peacock spider. (Thanks, Cheryl!)
- The amount of snow it takes to cancel school across the US. (I think school’s been cancelled more times here this winter due to dangerous windchills instead of snow.)

Those slogans were awesome
Kitties, can I join your hibernation pile?
People still read hardbacks? I love a good spine cracking myself :).
In the UK the schools seem to shut down at the slightest whiff of snow but that’s more to do with the crappy council’s lack of snow ploughs. The teachers can’t get to school cos the road’s are dangerous even after an inch or so of snow.
My ideal fictional city is Kings Landing. Hmmmmm…I don’t reckon I’d be alive for long there :).
Did you see NeGTyson on Bill Moyers? Good interview. I have a bigger nerd crush on him than ever. This looks like a good weekend for something like chick pea and chorizo stew. I bet I could use Italian sausage, which I have in the freezer. Hmmm
Lol, King’s Landing..ok good, just not in time of war
Also..schools closing. HA, never happened here
Chris- I remember getting “Mayo Clinic” on CD ROM and looking up symptoms. Never a good idea.
Have a great weekend.
Another Linkity where I could waste a day.
We should all follow Chaos and Mayhem until this winter is over.
Love the reader infographic! Definitely hit The Hoarder, The Chornological Readers, Kindle Convert, and somewhat on the Omnireader.
Book hoarder, library lover, omnireader, bedtime reader (not sleepy), book clubber, easily influenced, eclectic — that’s me. Loved (LOVED!) the cat/fear video.
That cauliflower fried rice looks awfully good.
I think I’m a mix of a re-reader & book-buster, though it’s kinda hard to dog-ear when reading on my phone. And I’m in one of those ‘Why is it so cold?’ states…which begs a very good question.
*pets sleepy kitties*
YAH for linkity!
And I can’t believe there are still hockey fics you haven’t read *grin* There must be a hockey fic writing industry somewhere…
Mountain Dew Cheetos?!!! They sound a little odd 🙂
We grind to a halt whenever it snows so I was amused by the school closure map.
I am soooo looking forward to Cosmos being on the air again! And with Neil, too!
I like my FitBit when I use it on fitness machines that it can track (like the treadmill) or when I’m actually walking around. I don’t like it so much on machines it can’t track (say, a stationary bike). But it’s a good reminder that I need to be more active, especially now that I am linked up with some friends… my competitive nature kicks in there. 😉
Those embroidered notebooks are CLEVER. I sense Christmas gifts coming up…
