Thanks again to everyone who submitted a playlist! You definitely got me thinking, laughing, and inspired.
“You know I don’t approve of all this music and crazy dancing, so I’ll just hang out here in the cat carrier until things are calm again.”
What a fun game – sorry I missed out on it. Sad to see that “The Lion Sleeps Tonight” doesn’t appear to have made it on to the list.
Excellent play list – is that Chaos really in the carrier voluntarily?
That’s an AWESOME mix of songs.
WE RULE!
And dude, that is like, the Rolls Royce of cat carriers, isn’t it? Daaaaang.
I can’t believe Chaos would hang out in the cat carrier! Are you sure he’s a cat?
My husband and I got a good laugh out of some of the songs mentioned, and we can’t believe Chaos is in his carrier willingly. Though, it does look more comfy than the carriers we used to have for our dogs.
My friend Faith pointed out that Nautie from Knitty would make a good cat toy. Does Chaos need a catnip Nautie? 🙂
Funky playlists!
Chaos looks remarkably calm for a cat sitting in a container which may take off to the vet at any time.
What a freaking awesome list you ended up with. And you will have a few more of the songs soon as I am compiling a CD to send you. I’ll send the ones from my list and check through your master to see if I have any of those to add as well. Have a great weekend and Happy Zombie Jesus Day!
Poor Chaos! Obviously his choice of music is much different from yours.
Great list!
Chaos and Sockies have the same carrier 🙂 She on the other hand won’t be caught dead in it!
What a great music list! Chaos just inspired all of us…
I’m a bit surprised that your house panther is in that carrier…
I thought Squirrel Nut Zippers was only a candy!
Aren’t animals funny, our dog Abner hates music, but our parrot Basil absolutely loves it and is happiest when it’s blaring so loud all our neighbors can hear it. IT’s a good thing, that only happens when I’m not home.
Great list!! What a selection.
Look how willingly Chaos goes into his carrier… *sigh*
The songs you mentioned in at the top of the post are my favorites. cool.
The THOUGHT of the cat carrier, makes Felix run. This is kinda evil, but I like to put him in it, and watch it move around the living room.
Tyberius runs in terror when we bring out the carrier, but we had to leave Isadora’s out because she loves to crawl in there when she’s freaked out (or hiding from her brother). Go figure.
Wow…what a list. I’m with Chaos, feels like time for a little lie down.
Poor abused Chaos! Hiding! Awwww.
LOL! Great choices for the Chaos playlists. Wow a cat who gets into the carrier at home? I never thought I’d see the day:)
(chiming in w-a-y too late)
“Under My Thumb” by The Rolling Stones (with particular attention to the line, “A siamese cat of a girl.”)
“Year of the Car” – Al Stewart
One of my cats loves music. I should put together a playlist for her!
Another really fun cat song (too late, I know) is “Day Kitty” by Lou Barlow.
What a great list of songs!
Katie HATES the carrier. If she spots it before you can grab her, it’s almost impossible to get her in it.
Wow, impressive list.
I think Chaos looks suitably disapproving of the entire musical/crazy dancing that he’s willing to go to the vet.
Wow – Chaos sits in the cat carrier of his own free will? Impressive!
Just like the list of songs 🙂
Is that really a fabric cat carrier? That would not last five minutes with Jasper or particularly Merlin – they would destroy it!
Man I wish I’d had the gumption to add to that list. I can’t believe Man in Black didn’t make it.
Fun game!
Jack will sit in the carrier from time to time if it stays out for awhile. It’s a good place to hide.
;o) Chaos, you poor guy! That is a good place to hide though, if there is crazy dancing going on!
Too bad he doesn’t appreciate the fruits of his ‘inspiration’ on others ;o)
What does it say about me that I don’t know half of those songs?
When I’m more sober, I’m so getting some of these!
